Bed firmness was just right. Room was clean and roomy. The front desk attendants were welcoming and helpful.
Don't like the over-easy eggs. They're rubbery. Please consider serving only scrambled eggs. Add gluten free bread to menu.

Staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good, but they ran out of yogurt before we got any.
The coffee machine in our room took 3 tries (and wasted two pods) Brie we got it to work.

The hotel was a reasonable base for enjoying a nice area, not far from Ashland, the food area and waffle, and Caldera Brewery & Restaurant. Loved this cheap venue, recommend.

The bed was very comfortable, it's about the only thing I can give a positive rating.
The staff at check in. Our room was not ready, although they asked our time of arrival. We left and returned hours later, we were told because we didn't book with hotel directly we did not get an assigned room. They made us feel like low class looking for a bargain, although we paid full price to the tune of about $550. I booked two queens and got a king handicap room. Not a big deal but they also told us we would be having to change rooms after two nights. This was a big deal to us. After a complaint on our part (another big deal ) we were told we could keep our room and not have to check out and check back in. After check in I noticed an odor in the bathroom but after our experience getting the room I chose not to make a big deal of it. They were having an issue with the cable TV and we were not able to watch the finals of the Warrior's game (another big deal). Oh well. We will not be staying at another Holiday Express any time soon or ever! And if I have the opportunity to let anyone know about our experience, I will tell them.

This place was just a great fit for a weekend jaunt in Ashland with really good value. The room was nice, and the staff was really friendly. If you're bringing pets, be aware of the extra fees per dog.

The location of this hotel was great- right near town. The hotel, clean and the front desk staff helpful, and friendly. We booked a 2 queen room, and walked into a suite! This was a lovely surprise as we were traveling with our young child. We were able to put her to bed and then relax in sitting area. Free hot breakfast was great!
The only complaint: upon arrival, we noticed the fridge was not working, and someone came to fix it. Only we discovered the next morning that it was not fixed and our food was ruined. Bummer
